Guatemala Excitement!
I can't believe we're only days away from our exciting trip to Guatemala. I can't wait to start posting pictures and sharing all about our wonderful adventures in Guatemala. What many of you don't realize is that this is my family's origins. My parents and siblings were born in Guatemala and I still have some family that live and work in Guatemala. I have only been to Guatemala a few times and this will be my second mission trip experience in Guatemala so I get to see more sites and learn more about my family's heritage.

I love the fact that we can help you experience your heritage and roots with a mission trip to Guatemala. Everyone is excited you are going. We have lots of children's materials that we're taking with us, so we can touch their lives in a very personal way with the love of Jesus. I will never forget how last year Rene Kahre was reading a bible story to the children who were gathering around our work site. The children were fascinated with the story and the story teller, but the most exciting part was one of the local construction workers had left his work behind to listen to Rene share the story of Jesus. There are moments like this that remind you we are there for more than building houses; we are building relationships. Thanks for being part of our team, Cindy.
